Sally Rippin at The Little Bookroom – The Little Bookroom
It's no secret that we love Sally Rippin!  And what's not to love; she's an amazing local woman doing fantastic things in the world of children's books.  She has written books for every age range that we cover at The Little Bookroom!  Board books, picture books, junior fiction and even teen novels.
Over the past few years we have fallen in love with the character Billie B. Brown which she created for immergent readers.  And now after much patient waiting, pleading (and the occasional whinge from our staff when she came into the shop), Sally has published a series for boys!  Jack is Billie's best friend and he is just as entertaining as his partner in crime.  If you have loved Billie B. Brown as much as we have and have asked yourself: "Why isn't there something like for this for boys?" Sally has heard you and written a brand new series featuring Billie's best friend Jack.

Sally has been writing and illustrating books for children of all ages over two decades, has won a bunch of awards and is now teaching other grown ups how to write for children; what can't this woman do?  And now here is your chance to meet her in person!  So, please come to The Little Bookroom and join us in congratulating Sally on her newest books:

Thursday April 12th 2012 10.30am in our Carlton shop.

All our events are free, but we have limited space, so please RSVP and we will email through confirmation of your booking. 9387 9837 or
