The Journey (HB)
An essential book for our times.
“I look up to the birds that seem to be following us. They are migrating just like us. And their journey, like ours, is very long, but they don’t have to cross any borders.”
A powerful, unflinchingly beautiful account of a family's quest for refuge. With candid prose and vibrant, atmospheric illustrations Francesca Sanna has created an immediately engaging and sincere picturebook. It will tease out empathy in even the most reluctant reader. Staggering.
